I have recently purchased Francis Francis Machine. This espresso machine is the best way to make true Italian espresso. It does many things very well, and I have yet to discover any shortfalls. It is clearly a cut above others. This is the first espresso machine I bought, had it for about six months now. And so far, I really could not be happier with it for what it is. 1. The machine is very easy to use, and cleaning really is not that much of a hassle (make sure to read the instructions thoroughly before use). It is smaller than most machines, at just a little stockier than your average drip coffee pot.
2. The physical construction is quite nice. It’s completely metal except for the reservoir, the (generously deep) drip tray and the portafilter handle. This is just a good looking machine, very attractive on your kitchen counter. It has a fairly small footprint, so it does not take up too much space.
3. Once you get down a good routine, the coffee this makes will be almost 100% free of any bitterness. I personally do not think you can ever completely rid coffee of its bitterness, but this nice machine helps me come closer than any coffee I have ever bought from a coffee shop.
4. I can guarantee that most of those who try this will be able to produce shots that are consistently better than any corporate coffee shop (Starbucks, Carribou, Tully, etc.) with a week’s practice.
5. The machine is very easy to use, and cleaning really is not that much of a hassle (make sure to read the instruction manual thoroughly before use).
6. This is a great little espresso machine. The espresso pods are easy to work with produce a great espresso with excellent crema. This machine does the job plus it looks fantastic. Very happy with this purchase.
I’m pleased with my purchase of the Francis Francis Machine. I’m sure there are bigger and badder machines out there. But for the cost, looks, and performance – this machine really fits the bill. The price is right, so if you are looking for a espresso machine that is a solid pick. It is a phenomenal machine. It does exactly what it says it does and does it in a very simple user-friendly way. The price is cheaper than other units. Buy without hesitation. It’s a robust and simple piece of machinery that produces an amazing espresso.
